Plug-in

In this Green Space, you can find various voices from exhibition and projects of ARKO Art Center that reach out to our society. Below in the website, you can read the alternative text for the color Green.

Prism Plug-in was developed to establish a shared consciousness to connect and integrate ARKO Art Center’s various projects in 2022, including its exhibitions, education programs, Insa Art Space activities, and archiving. Weaving together the Center’s different activities under the theme of “Prism: A Future Vision and Practice for Art Institution Connectability,” it shares different perceptions in order to shape a collective approach and shared understanding of society.

In addition to sharing thoughts about mobility and sexual diversity through programs associated with the ARKO Art Center themed exhibition “To You: Move Toward Where You Are” and the invitational exhibition “All About Love: Young Joon Kwak & Sara Sejin Chang (Sara van der Heide)”, it is also scheduled to explore technologies for overcoming the constraints of physical spaces in relation to convergent art festivals. Through a last themed exhibition, it will be pursuing a dialogue on community activities connecting society with art. The ARKO Archive and Insa Art Space will also be joining in the exploration of Prism’s shared issues through research examining accessibility and diversity.

Alternative text by “Rainbow-Making Wave”: Green

On a lazy afternoon, I take a seat near the window in a quiet café and sip some warm tea. Next to me are half-read books, and the quiet music adds to the sense of leisure.
